Privacy notice
The Effiduase Diocese of The Methodist Church Ghana collects limited information to maintain its ministerial and leadership register and remember important birthdays.
What we collect
Your name, title, role, date of birth, contact details, circuit, society and portrait photograph (where required). You may provide optional additional information.
How we use it
Authorised diocesan administrators use the information to verify appointments, maintain the directory, coordinate with leaders and plan birthday greetings. Birth years and contact details are not made available in public birthday listings by this system.
Who can see it
Approved administrators and authorised read-only staff can access relevant records. Public registration does not make a person's profile publicly searchable.
Public birthday greetings are optional
You can separately consent to the use of your name and portrait in public greetings (including social media). This consent is optional, may be withdrawn, and is not a condition of registration. Administrators must check permission before publishing.
Storage, retention, and your choices
The Diocese seeks to protect records using controlled access and secure storage. Records are maintained while relevant for diocesan administration; rejected submissions and inactive appointments are subject to diocesan retention decisions. You may request access, correction, removal, or consent withdrawal through the Diocesan Office. The Diocese must confirm and publish an appropriate organisational privacy and retention policy before live deployment.
